Basketball Recap: Fairfax Takes a Loss

Fairfax lost against South County back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Fairfax Lions were outmatched by the South County Stallions and fell 56-9. The game marked the Lions' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Fairfax dropped their record down to 5-11 with the loss, which was their seventh straight at home. As for South County, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-4 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Fairfax will venture away from home to take on Robinson at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Robinson will roll in looking for their 14th straight victory, something Fairfax surely won't give up without a fight. As for South County, they are taking a road trip to face off against West Springfield at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
