Flag Football Game Preview: Glenbrook South Titans vs. Evanston Wildkits

The Glenbrook South Titans will take on the Evanston Wildkits at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (Glenbrook South 7.7, Evanston 9.5) so any points scored will be well earned.

Glenbrook South will roll into the matchup after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up 12 points on Thursday, then bounced right back against Prospect on Saturday. The Titans put the hurt on the Knights with a sharp 39-15 victory. The result was nothing new for the Titans, who have now won four games by 24 points or more so far this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Glenbrook South to victory, but perhaps none more so than Cooper Godbout, who picked up 47 receiving yards and one touchdown, and also rushed for 47 yards. Selah Cho was another key receiver, picking up 80 receiving yards and a pair of scores.

Meanwhile, Evanston faced St. Laurence in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Wildkits walked away with an 18-6 win over the Vikings. Winning may never get old, but the Wildkits sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Evanston's victory bumped their record up to 13-2. As for Glenbrook South, their win bumped their record up to 12-1.
