West Central hadn't done well against Frontier recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Trojans blew past the Falcons 3-0. This was payback for the Trojans, who suffered a 3-1 defeat the last time these two teams met.

West Central walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the second set). The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-13, 25-20.

When it comes to explaining why Frontier lost, don't look at Lauren Wasson. Despite the final result, she had 16 digs and three aces.

The victory got West Central back to even at 2-2. As for Frontier, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. West Central will head out to take on Knox at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Frontier, they will venture away from home to challenge North White at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Vikings will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Falcons surely won't give up without a fight.
