Softball Recap: Tabb Tigers vs. New Kent Trojans
Tabb lost against New Kent back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Tigers came up short against the Trojans, falling 14-2.
Tabb saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Milenah Camacho, who went 2-for-3 with one run.
Tabb has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-7 record this season. As for New Kent, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 11-3.
We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Tabb is set to face off against their familiar foe Grafton at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, New Kent will square off against rival Jamestown at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The timing is sure in the Trojans' favor as the squad sits on seven straight wins at home while the Eagles have been banged up by four consecutive losses on the road.
