Brownwood kept a clean sheet against Alvarado on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Alvarado Indians as they made off with a 4-0 win. Considering the Lions have won seven contests by more than three goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

The victory made it two in a row for Brownwood and bumps their season record up to 10-2. As for Alvarado, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Brownwood will square off against Fredericksburg at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Brownwood's defense has only allowed 0.3 goals per game this season, so Fredericksburg's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Alvarado, they will take on Life Waxahachie at 5:00 p.m. on February 4th. Life Waxahachie will roll in looking for their 14th straight win, something Alvarado surely won't give up without a fight.
