Roosevelt had won ten straight games and Kyla Hollier did her part to make it 11 on Thursday. The Roosevelt Roughriders were the clear victor by a 68-48 margin over the Timnath Cubs thanks in part to Hollier, who dropped a double-double with 29 points and 12 rebounds. The matchup was her seventh in a row with at least 23 points.

Paige Wright was another key player, going 5-for-6 on her way to 13 points. She continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played.

Despite the loss, Timnath still got an impressive performance from Gretchen Deines, who went 6-for-9 to rack up 16 points. What's more, Deines also posted a 67% field goal percentage, which is the highest she's achieved since back in February of 2024. Another player making a difference was Gracyn Redmon, who posted five points and five boards.

Roosevelt pushed their record up to 19-3 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 72.4 points over those games. As for Timnath, their loss ended a 12-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 18-3.

Roosevelt didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 65-50 win against Thompson Valley on the 22nd. As for Timnath, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 62-33 victory against Wellington on the 25th.
