Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Saint Jo). They put the hurt on the Perrin-Whitt Pirates with a sharp 35-20 victory on Thursday. Considering the Panthers have won three games by more than 14 runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

The win made it two in a row for Saint Jo and bumps their season record up to 3-7. That said, the team wasn't facing the toughest opposition over that stretch, as it included 0-8 Bryson and 2-4 Perrin-Whitt. As for Perrin-Whitt, their loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 2-4.

Coincidentally, Saint Jo and Perrin-Whitt will both be playing Bryson the next time they take the field. The Panthers will host the Cowboys at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Pirates will head out to face them at 5:00 p.m. on the 11th.
