Coast Union came out on top against Shandon on Wednesday thanks in part to Selah Babcock's efforts. Babcock produced her best game of the campaign: she scored two runs while going 1-for-3.

Looking ahead, Babcock and Coast Union will take on Santa Clarita Christian at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. Santa Clarita Christian will enter the matchup having just beaten Frazier Mountain, so Coast Union will have to guard against a team looking to keep the ball rolling.
