Football Recap: Lindenhurst Comes Up Short + How To Watch

After flying high against Riverhead last Saturday, Lindenhurst came back down to earth. The Bulldogs and Sachem East were almost perfectly matched up on Friday, but the Bulldogs suffered a 14-13 loss. The Bulldogs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Sachem East apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Sachem East was led to victory by Cody Quinlivan and Ryan Pickersgill. Quinlivan rushed for 119 yards and one touchdown, while Pickersgill threw for 36 yards and one TD.

Having lost for the first time this season, Lindenhurst fell to 3-1. As for Sachem East, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Lindenhurst will square off against rival William Floyd at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Sachem East is set to face off against their familiar foe Brentwood at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.
