Basketball Recap: Cunningham Falls to Minneola in First Game of Season + How To Watch

Cunningham had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They fell 56-44 to Minneola on Friday. Cunningham was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Minneola apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in December of 2024.

Minneola was led to victory by Levi Lang and Kaos Aldridge. Lang posted 19 points and five boards, while Aldridge almost dropped a double-double with 14 points and nine rebounds. Those nine rebounds gave Aldridge a new career-high. Coy Denison was another key player, putting up seven points and six boards.

Looking ahead, Cunningham will square off against Otis-Bison at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Minneola, they will challenge Rolla at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
