Volleyball Recap: Britton-Hecla Picks Up Seventh Straight Win at Home

Britton-Hecla lost to Milbank last Saturday, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Thursday. The Braves blew past the Bulldogs 3-0. The Braves not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since September 11th (when they won 3-0).

Britton-Hecla got the W, but it wasn't easy, at least in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 32-30, 25-13.

Britton-Hecla was led to victory by Ava Teveldal and Kennady Van Lith. Teveldal had 14 digs and one assist, while Van Lith had ten digs and one assist. Teveldal is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last ten games she's played.

Britton-Hecla was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 11 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least nine aces in three consecutive matchups.

Britton-Hecla pushed their record up to 10-8 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season. As for Milbank, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 12 of their last 13 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-17 record this season.
