Soccer Recap: Gorham Comes Up Short

Gorham lost against Groveton on September 2nd and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Huskies fell 2-0 to the Eagles. Gorham have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Gorham's loss dropped their record down to 1-7-1. As for Groveton, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-2-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Gorham will take on Woodsville at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Gorham will be up against Woodsville's rather soft defense (which has allowed 3.11 goals per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Groveton, they will square off against Pittsburg at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
