Basketball Recap: Lemon Bay Falls Despite Big Games from Maya Collins and Myah Dickerson

Lemon Bay was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a hard 52-33 fall against the Oak Lawn Spartans. The game marked the Manta Rays' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Lemon Bay's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Myah Dickerson, who almost dropped a double-double on 13 points and nine rebounds, and Maya Collins, who posted ten points and three steals. Collins is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last 33 games she's played dating back to last season.

Lemon Bay now has a losing record at 3-4. As for Oak Lawn, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-5.
