Volleyball Recap: Eagle Ridge Academy Takes a Loss

Eagle Ridge Academy lost against Mountain View back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Warriors fell 3-1 to the Mountain Lions. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-20, 21-25, 25-17.

Despite the defeat, Eagle Ridge Academy saw an underclassman step up: freshman Javier Pargas had 26 digs. With that strong performance, Pargas is now averaging an impressive 10.4 digs per game.

Eagle Ridge Academy's loss dropped their record down to 10-9. As for Mountain View, their win bumped their record up to 13-9.

Coincidentally, Eagle Ridge Academy and Mountain View will both be playing Severance the next time they take the court. The Warriors will head out to face the Silver Knights at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, while the Mountain Lions will head out to face them at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
