Softball Recap: Windsor Comes Up Short

Windsor was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat dating back to last season. They were two runs away from ending the streak, but they lost a 6-4 heartbreaker at the hands of the Conard Red Wolves. The Warriors were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Red Wolves apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in May of 2017.

Windsor's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Conard, their win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 4-1.

Looking ahead, Windsor will head out to challenge Maloney at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday. As for Conard, they will challenge South Windsor at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday.
