Recap: Bronson Eagles vs. Hilliard Red Flashes
The Bronson Eagles's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fourth straight loss. They were the victim of a rough 75-55 defeat at the hands of Hilliard. While losing is never fun, Bronson can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 562nd, while Hilliard is ranked 206th).
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Hilliard to victory, but perhaps none more so than CJ Hall, who scored ten points along with five rebounds. The match was Hall's third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of DJ Alderman, who scored ten points along with four steals.
Bronson's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Hilliard, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 10-2.
Bronson and Dixie County will face off at 8:00 p.m. on January 8, 2024 without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. As for Hilliard, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Hawthorne at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
