Volleyball Recap: Southern Guilford Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Southern Guilford was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Dudley Panthers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Storm of the 3-2 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

While Southern Guilford ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 17 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-21, 25-18.

Southern Guilford's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Dudley, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 3-4 record this season.
