Recap: Henryetta Knights vs. Beggs Demons
After losing to the Beggs Demons the last time they met, the Henryetta Knights decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Henryetta snuck past Beggs with a 45-39 victory on Tuesday.
Henryetta's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Talon Weaver, who scored 13 points. Skylar Greenhaw was another key contributor, scoring ten points.
Henryetta now has a winning record of 11-10. As for Beggs, they have been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 12 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-13 record this season.
Henryetta didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 51-44 win vs. Okemah on the 9th. Beggs will be playing in front of their home fans against Okmulgee at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Okmulgee is facing Beggs at the right time seeing as Beggs is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
