Freehold Boro extended their losing streak to four on Wednesday, dropping their season record down to 5-9 in the process. They lost 11-0 to the Holmdel Hornets. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Hornets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 6-0 on Monday.

As for Holmdel, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-4. With that win, they brought their scoring average up to 6.1 runs per game.

For Holmdel's part, Jack Vallillo made a splash while hitting and pitching. He didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out 11 over five innings pitched.
