It was a good run, but Morgan unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell 11-7 to the Montville Wolves. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for the Huskies, who until this match were averaging 4.07 runs allowed.

Zach Viens put in work no matter where he played. He pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Viens was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two runs and one RBI.

In other batting news, Dom Larabee was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-4 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run. He has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last four times he's played.

The defeat was their first on the road , dropping their record down to 11-4. As for Montville, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-1.

Looking ahead, Morgan will head out to face off against West Haven at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday. As for Montville, they will host Killingly at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
