Softball Recap: Gadsden City Snaps Six-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

Gadsden City's game last Saturday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. Everything went their way against the Glencoe Yellowjackets as the Gadsden City Titans made off with an 11-1 victory. That ten run margin sets a new team best for the Titans this season.

Kiera Hampton was incredible, going 1-for-2 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. Shay Kitchens was another key player, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3.

Gadsden City's win ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-10. As for Glencoe, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-3.

Coming up, Gadsden City will take on Southside at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Glencoe, they will face off against Hokes Bluff at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
