Recap: Two Rivers Warriors vs. North Polars
The Two Rivers Warriors lost to the North Polars back in January, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. Two Rivers took their contest at home with ease, bagging a 57-23 victory over North.
Two Rivers' win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Elayna Vannett, who scored 19 points along with six rebounds. Another player making a difference was Gabi Kirchner, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 12 rebounds.
Two Rivers' win bumped their record up to 12-9. As for North, their defeat was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-15.
Two Rivers will face off against Hastings at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Two Rivers is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 58.6 points per game this season. As for North, they will be playing in front of their home fans against South St. Paul at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
