Softball Recap: Dickinson Comes Up Short

Dickinson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 34-4 to the McNair Academic Cougars. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cougars this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 20-0 on April 10th.

Dickinson saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Yafreisi Ciprian, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with two RBI. Those RBI marked the first that Ciprian has brought in this season.

Dickinson's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for McNair Academic, they pushed their record up to 10-2 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Dickinson will take on rival St. Dominic Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, McNair Academic is set to face off against their familiar foe Ferris at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
