Volleyball Recap: Cunningham Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when Cunningham challenged Central Christian on Tuesday. The Wildcats fell just short of the Cougars by a score of 2-1. The Wildcats have struggled against the Cougars recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.

Cunningham started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last two. The final score came out to 23-25, 25-21, 25-17.

Cunningham's defeat dropped their record down to 14-12. As for Central Christian, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 15-9 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Cunningham is set to take on their familiar foe Pretty Prairie on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Central Christian will face off against rival Norwich at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
