Coco Vonderhaar continued his hot streak on Wednesday by dropping his third-straight game with at least one stolen base. He went 2-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and one stolen base. He was dominant the last time he took on Gunn back in April of 2024, so they probably should've seen this coming. Palo Alto is 2-1 when Vonderhaar posts one or more home runs, but 5-10 otherwise.

Vonderhaar's strong effort led Palo Alto over Gunn and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Vikings are a perfect 10-0 against the Titans going back to February of 2015, a lead they'll look to extend.
