Baseball Recap: St. Peter Takes a Loss

St. Peter was the 13-1 winner over Worthington when they last played one another on April 9th, but their luck changed this time around. The Saints came up short against the Trojans on Thursday, falling 9-2. The Saints have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

St. Peter's defeat dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Worthington, the victory snapped their losing streak at eight games and leaves them with a 2-9 record.

Coincidentally, St. Peter and Worthington will both be playing Marshall the next time they take the field. The Trojans will head out to face the Tigers at 5:30 p.m. on Monday, while the Saints will head out to face them at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
