Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Venice walked away with it. They snuck past the Riverview Sarasota Rams with a 71-66 victory on Saturday. The Indians' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Venice had a senior duo take command as Zoe O'Leary dropped a double-double on 26 points and 12 boards and Tessa Oleary went 6 of 9 on her way to 21 points along with seven assists and six rebounds. Thanks to that strong game, O'Leary now owns an excellent 45.8% field goal percentage. Another player making a difference was Addison Ivery, who posted 11 points in addition to seven assists and seven rebounds.

The win (which was Venice's eighth in a row) raised their record to 17-5. As for Riverview Sarasota, their defeat dropped their record down to 20-5.
