Soccer Recap: Red Oak Triumphs

Red Oak was not the first on the board on Friday, but they got there more often. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Midlothian Panthers. This was payback for the Hawks, who suffered a 2-1 loss the last time these two teams met.

Red Oak's victory bumped their record up to 4-2-3. As for Midlothian, the defeat snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 4-4 record.

Red Oak is facing Kaufman at the right time seeing as Kaufman is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Midlothian, a feisty cat fight is on tap when the Midlothian challenge the Corsicana at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Corsicana's last three contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
