Softball Recap: Grovetown Warriors vs. South Gwinnett Comets
Grovetown came tearing into Monday's match with 21 straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10.5 runs) and they left with even more momentum. They were the clear victor by a 9-1 margin over the South Gwinnett Comets. The result was nothing new for the Warriors, who have now won 17 contests by six runs or more so far this season.
Iman Wright was excellent, going 2-for-2 with two doubles and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Sam Story, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2.
