Volleyball Recap: Churubusco Takes a Loss

Churubusco was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Fort Wayne Bishop Luers Knights. The Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Knights apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in August of 2024.

Churubusco's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Fort Wayne Bishop Luers, the win snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 2-5 record.

Churubusco has already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Whitko on the 26th. As for Fort Wayne Bishop Luers, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 3-2 win against Huntington North on the 26th.
