Softball Recap: Brainerd Comes Up Short

Brainerd was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 23rd straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 13-0 to the Chattanooga Central Pounders. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Pounders this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 15-0 back in March.

Brainerd's defeat dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Chattanooga Central, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 16-7-1.

Brainerd didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, an 8-5 loss against Chattanooga School for the Arts & Sciences on the 16th. As for Chattanooga Central, they will face off against Clarkrange at 12:00 p.m. on the 25th.
