Volleyball Recap: Eastmoor Academy Comes Up Short

The Eastmoor Academy Warriors lost 3-0 to the Tree of Life Christian Trojans on Monday.

Eastmoor Academy took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-8, 25-13, 25-15.

Leading Tree of Life Christian to victory were Megan Donnally and Mimi Cochran. Donnally had seven digs and six aces, while Cochran had six digs and two aces. That's the most aces Donnally has posted since back in September.

Eastmoor Academy's loss dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Tree of Life Christian, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-8.

Looking ahead, after both having extra time off, Eastmoor Academy and River Valley will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:00 p.m. on the 15th. As for Tree of Life Christian, they have already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Delaware Christian on the 7th.
