Baseball Recap: Pittsfield Starts Season with Victory at Home

Pittsfield gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Tuesday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Hamilton/Warsaw Titans a 15-0 shutout.

Carter Frazier was a standout: he scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances. Those two runs gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Kaden Ferguson, who scored three runs and stole Two bases.

Hamilton/Warsaw's loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Coming up, Pittsfield will take on Greenfield/Northwestern at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Hamilton/Warsaw, they will face off against Biggsville West Central at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
