Football Recap: Kennard-Dale Wins Going Away Against Susquehannock

Kennard-Dale had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9.5 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They enjoyed a cozy 35-16 victory over the Susquehannock Warriors. That 19 point margin sets a new team best for the Rams this season.

Susquehannock's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Trevor Odegaard, who rushed for 136 yards. Odegaard's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 123 rushing yards. The team also got some help courtesy of Jacob Burns, who threw for 87 yards and a pair of TDs.

Kennard-Dale's win bumped their record up to 6-4. As for Susquehannock, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-8.

Looking ahead, Kennard-Dale will host Eastern Lebanon County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Susquehannock does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
