It was a good run, but South Anchorage unfortunately witnessed the end of their ten-game winning streak on Thursday. They lost 3-0 to the Dimond Lynx. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Wolverines have suffered since September 10, 2024.

While South Anchorage had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 21 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-23, 25-23.

South Anchorage's defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 5-1 and their overall record down to 10-3. As for Dimond, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 7-7.

South Anchorage has already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Bettye Davis East Anchorage on the 19th. As for Dimond, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Eagle River on the 19th.
