Castro Valley won the last time they faced Dublin and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Trojans were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Gaels. The Trojans not only won on Wednesday, but they posted their biggest win since August 26th (when they won 3-0).

Castro Valley was especially dominant in the second set. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-13, 25-21.

Courtney Seiji had a dynamite game, getting 16 digs and two aces. That's the most aces she has posted over her last six contests. Sahar Sharifi also deserves some recognition as she served her first ace of the season.

They weren't the only good server: Castro Valley was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 12 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in three consecutive matchups.

When it comes to explaining why Dublin lost, don't look at Krisha Patel. Despite the final result, she had 12 digs and two assists. Patel is crushing it when it comes to digs: she's had at least ten every time she's taken the court this season.

Castro Valley's win bumped their record up to 9-2. As for Dublin, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.

Castro Valley has already played their next game, a 3-0 victory against California on the 4th. As for Dublin, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Bishop O'Dowd on the 6th.
