Basketball Recap: Sergeant Bluff-Luton Comes Up Short

Sergeant Bluff-Luton lost against Bishop Heelan Catholic back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Sergeant Bluff-Luton Warriors were outmatched by the Bishop Heelan Catholic Crusaders and fell 73-43. While losing is never fun, the Warriors can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Iowa basketball rankings (they are ranked 190th, while the Crusaders are ranked 22nd).

Sergeant Bluff-Luton now has a losing record at 2-3. As for Bishop Heelan Catholic, their victory was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-1.

Sergeant Bluff-Luton has already played their next match, an 83-63 loss against Sioux City East on the 20th. As for Bishop Heelan Catholic, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 70-36 win against Western Christian on the 19th.
