Carbon got themselves on the board against Juab on Tuesday, but Juab never followed suit. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Wasps 1-0. This was payback for the Dinos, who suffered a 4-3 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Carbon's victory was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Jordan Nichols, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one double.

The win made it two in a row for Carbon and bumps their season record up to 8-12. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 0 runs in those games. As for Juab, their loss was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 7-1 and their overall record down to 14-5.

Coming up, Juab will take on North Sanpete at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. Carbon will be paying especially close attention to the Wasps' game: after the Wasps face off against the Hawks, they'll take on Carbon again at 3:00 p.m. on Friday.
