Baseball Recap: Jackson Timberwolves vs. Lake Stevens Vikings
Jackson lost a heartbreaker to Lake Stevens when they met back in April of 2024, and they left with a heavy heart again on Monday. The Timberwolves fell just short of the Vikings by a score of 3-2. The loss continues a trend for the Timberwolves in their meetings with the Vikings: they've now lost four in a row.
Drew Pepin was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he tossed 6.2 innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off ten hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than one walk in four consecutive appearances.
