Softball Recap: Struthers Comes Up Short

After flying high against McKinley on Monday, Struthers came back down to earth. The Wildcats came up short against the Station Camp Bison on Friday, falling 14-0. The Wildcats were not able to make up for their loss to the Bison from their previous meeting back in April of 2022.

Struthers saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Bella Sandusky, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one double.

Struthers' defeat dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Station Camp, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 14 matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 16-7 record this season.

Coincidentally, Struthers and Station Camp will both be playing Weir the next time they take the field. The Wildcats will head out to face the Red Riders at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Bison will host them at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.
