Football Recap: Kimball Starts Season with Defeat on the Road + How To Watch

Kimball had to start their season on the road on Friday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They were beaten by the East Union Lancers 64-12. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Jaguars have suffered against the Lancers since October 21, 2016.

Jackson Fay was a one-man wrecking crew For East Union. as he picked up 74 receiving yards and two TDs, and also rushed for 44 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Kirk Simoni was another key player, throwing for 124 yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Kimball will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on West at 7:00 p.m. on September 5. As for East Union, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, an 83-19 victory against Freedom on the 29th.
