Peoria lost against Thunderbird back in September of 2021 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Panthers took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Titans. The Panthers' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Leading Thunderbird to victory were Ema-Lee Burke and Greer Annibale. Burke had 20 digs, while Annibale had three digs and three aces. Burke has been hot, having posted ten or more digs the last six times she's played.

Peoria's loss dropped their record down to 5-14. As for Thunderbird, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-11 record this season.

Peoria didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Copper Canyon on the 17th. As for Thunderbird, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against Scottsdale Preparatory Academy on the 17th.
