Basketball Recap: Mooresville Now 4-1 over Last Five Games

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Mooresville had no problem doing just that on Friday. They walked away with a 60-47 win over the Center Grove Trojans. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 73-69 back in February.

Chris Thompson-Moore went supernova for Mooresville, going 6-for-10 en route to 16 points and four steals. Those 16 points gave Thompson-Moore a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Tyrone Elmore, who posted 14 points and three steals.

Mooresville has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 13-11 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.8 points over those games. Center Grove now has a losing record of 11-12.

Mooresville has already played their next contest, a 57-51 victory against Franklin Central on the 8th. Center Grove does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
