Football Game Preview: Del Campo Cougars vs. Twelve Bridges Raging Rhinos + Official Tickets

Two dominant backs in Bryce Smith and Chase Wyhlidko are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Del Campo Cougars will host the Twelve Bridges Raging Rhinos at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The squads are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Del Campo has struggled recently with seven losses in a row, while Twelve Bridges will arrive with nine straight victories.

It was a proper cat-fight when Del Campo took on Roseville on Friday. The Cougars were beaten by the Tigers 50-14. The contest marked the Cougars' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Meanwhile, Twelve Bridges got the win against Yuba City on Friday by a conclusive 48-27. Considering the Raging Rhinos have won four games by more than 20 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Del Campo better keep an eye on Daniel Oamil Jr. He was instrumental in Twelve Bridges' win, rushing for 77 yards and three touchdowns on only five carries. The bulk of those rushing yards came from one huge play: a run that gained an incredible 53 yards. The team also got some help courtesy of Connor Frontiera, who threw for 185 yards and one TD.

Twelve Bridges was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 342 rushing yards. They rushed for 118 more rushing yards than Yuba City's also-impressive total of 224.

Twelve Bridges' defense made their presence known, laying out Judah Allen three times. Davin Markle was particularly dangerous to the passing game, picking up two sacks himself.

Del Campo's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Twelve Bridges, their win bumped their record up to 9-0.

Del Campo was taken down by Twelve Bridges 48-12 in their previous meeting back in November of 2024. Thankfully for the Cougars, Braeden Ward (who rushed for 138 yards and three scores on only nine carries, and also picked up 79 receiving yards and one touchdown) won't be suiting up this time.
