Soccer Game Preview: Orosi vs. Granite Hills

The Orosi Cardinals will venture away from home to face off against the Granite Hills Grizzlies at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Orosi is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over Corcoran on Wednesday.

Bryan Lopez and Edwardo Herrera scored all three of Orosi's goals, bringing their combined season tally to five goals.

Meanwhile, Granite Hills kept a clean sheet against Orange Cove on Wednesday. They were the clear victor by a 5-0 margin over the Titans. The result was nothing new for the Grizzlies, who have now won four contests by three goals or more so far this season.

Orosi's win bumped their record up to 2-9-3. As for Granite Hills, they now have a winning record of 6-5-1.

Orosi skirted past Granite Hills 2-1 in their previous matchup back in February of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for Orosi since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
