Soccer Game Preview: Upperman vs. Cannon County

The Upperman Bees are taking a road trip to challenge the Cannon County Lions at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Thursday just wasn't the day for Upperman's offense. They fell just short of Watertown by a score of 1-0 on Thursday. Upperman have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Cannon County challenged Monterey on Tuesday. The Lions lost 10-0 to the Wildcats.

Cannon County's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Upperman, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Everything went Upperman's way against Cannon County in their previous meeting back in May of 2023, as Upperman made off with a 7-1 victory. Will the Bees repeat their success, or do the Lions have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
