After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Wellington, Dr. Joaquin Garcia was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They never let the Lake Worth Trojans get on the board and left with an 18-0 win. Considering the Bulldogs have won seven matches by more than ten runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Annabelle Brisco made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out six batters over two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and only one walk). She has been consistent : she hasn't given up more than two walks in eight consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI.

In other pitching news, Lily Burge looked comfortable as she tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one walk in three consecutive appearances.

Back at the plate, Ava Johnston was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and four RBI. Another player making a difference was Kylie Zimmerman, who scored two runs while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances.

Dr. Joaquin Garcia kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. They are a perfect 6-0 when they post 11 or more hits.

Dr. Joaquin Garcia's victory bumped their record up to 9-7. As for Lake Worth, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-6.

Dr. Joaquin Garcia will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Trojans: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
