Volleyball Game Preview: Northside Mustangs vs. Kenwood Broncos + How To Watch

The Northside Mustangs are taking a road trip to take on the Kenwood Broncos at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

Northside is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Niles West just ended the team's five-match winning streak on Saturday. They fell 2-0 to the Wolves.

While Northside was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. The final score came out to 25-13, 25-23.

Meanwhile, Kenwood didn't have quite enough to beat Payton College Prep on Thursday and fell 2-1. The loss continues a trend for the Broncos in their meetings with the Grizzlies: they've now lost four in a row.

Kenwood might've come up short, but they didn't make it easy on Payton College Prep: every set was decided by three points or less. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 22-25, 25-22.

Northside's defeat dropped their record down to 9-8. As for Kenwood, their loss dropped their record down to 6-8.

Northside couldn't quite get it done against Kenwood in their previous matchup back in October of 2024 as they fell 2-0. Can the Mustangs avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
