Colusa entered their tilt with Corning on Wednesday with eight consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with nine. They put the hurt on the Cardinals with a sharp 14-8 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 12-0 back in March.

Marlie Berry was a standout: she went 3-for-4 with three runs and two doubles. Braelyn Santana was another key player, going 3-for-2 with two runs and one triple.

Colusa was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .667. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .310 or higher in nine consecutive contests.
