Baseball Recap: Friendship Christian Has No Trouble Against Donelson Christian Academy

The third road match was the charm for Friendship Christian, as they earned their first away victory of the season. They blew past the Donelson Christian Academy Wildcats 10-0 on Tuesday. The Commanders haven't had any issues with the Wildcats recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Sam Duckwiler was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowed only one hit over five innings pitched. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in strikeouts (five). He was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-2 with one triple and one run.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Luke Sellars, who went 1-for-3 with four RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. Perez Parker was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing a base while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances.

The victory was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 5-7. As for Donelson Christian Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-6.

Looking ahead, Friendship Christian will venture away from home to face off against Upperman at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Donelson Christian Academy, they will host East Robertson at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
